RemoteBuddee IT Services Private Limited serves as the Data Fiduciary for all users across its engineering consultancy operations and proprietary operated software products. When you access our websites, submit inquiry forms, book engineering sprints, or register on operated applications like FarmQ, your data is processed under the governance and statutory standards of this policy.
2. FarmQ Platform Data Collection & Processing
For users of FarmQ (farmers seeking equipment/labour and independent agricultural service providers), RemoteBuddee collects and manages specific operational data necessary to facilitate discovery and bookings:
Identity & Contact Data
Name, mobile telephone number, display name, preferred regional language (e.g. Telugu, English, Hindi), and optional profile photographs.
Farmer Location & Farm Data
Precise GPS location (with explicit mobile browser permission), farm acreage, crop type, village, mandal, district, and postal code for machinery dispatch.
Provider KYC & Fleet Specifications
Aadhaar/PAN identification numbers, bank payout details, equipment specifications (tractor HP, drone tank capacity, harvester models), operator licenses, and operational service radius.
Operational & Meter Records
Booking timestamps, job duration, engine hour meter readings, customer dispute evidence, rating scores, and in-app communication records.
Direct Payment Privacy Disclosure
Under the FarmQ direct farmer-to-provider launch model, farmers settle charges directly with service providers via Cash, direct UPI, or bank transfer. RemoteBuddee does NOT collect, view, or store full credit card numbers, debit card CVVs, or bank netbanking passwords. We record transaction statuses and agreed tariff rates strictly for accounting, customer mediation, and service dispute audits.
3. Purposes and Lawful Basis for Processing
We collect and process your information strictly for lawful purposes, including:
- Authenticating users via secure SMS/OTP protocols;
- Matching farmers with nearby agricultural machinery and verified local providers;
- Enabling in-app communication and customer support mediation;
- Responding to business inquiries and consultation requests for RemoteBuddee AI MVP services;
- Monitoring system integrity, combating fraud, and enforcing platform safety;
- Complying with applicable Indian statutory, taxation, and law enforcement directives.
4. Data Sharing & Third-Party Processors
RemoteBuddee never sells personal data to data brokers or advertising exchanges. Data is shared only under strict operational confidentiality:
• Marketplace Counterparties: Once a booking request is accepted on FarmQ, relevant contact numbers, pickup/field GPS markers, and equipment needs are shared between the farmer and the assigned provider to enable field execution.
• Infrastructure & API Partners: We rely on enterprise cloud infrastructure (Google Cloud Platform, AWS, Vercel), mapping services (Leaflet/OpenStreetMap), and transactional SMS/telephony gateways bound by strict data processing agreements.
• Legal Obligations: We may disclose records if required by a valid court order, warrant, or statutory body with competent legal jurisdiction in India.
5. Data Security, Retention & User Rights
All data in transit is encrypted using TLS 1.3, and data at rest is protected with AES-256 encryption. We implement role-based access control, tokenized authentication, and automated vulnerability monitoring.
In accordance with the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act, you hold the right to access your stored data, rectify inaccurate details, withdraw consent, or request complete account erasure by contacting our Data Protection and Grievance Officer.
