Master Terms of Service
This User Agreement constitutes a legally binding electronic agreement between you (“User”, “Client”, “Farmer”, or “Provider”) and RemoteBuddee IT Services Private Limited (“RemoteBuddee”, “we”, “us”), having its registered office in Hyderabad, Telangana. By browsing remotebuddee.com, signing a studio statement of work, or accessing our operated consumer platforms including farmq.app , you affirmatively agree to these terms.
1. Legal Entity & Platform Operator
RemoteBuddee IT Services Private Limited operates as both an AI Product Studio (designing, prototyping, and deploying software systems for enterprise and startup clients) and a digital platform operator powering proprietary technology marketplaces, including FarmQ. All commercial operations, software licenses, and consumer support channels are administered under this corporate entity.
2. FarmQ Agricultural Services & Equipment Terms
The following specialized terms govern all activity on farmq.app and its associated progressive web applications and dispatch APIs:
2.1 Marketplace Platform Role & Operator Boundary
FarmQ is a digital marketplace platform facilitating agricultural service discovery and communication between independent farmers and third-party service providers (including tractors, combine harvesters, drone spraying, transport, and farm labour). Unless explicitly agreed in writing, RemoteBuddee IT Services Private Limited is not the direct supplier or executor of field operations. Independent providers are solely responsible for machinery maintenance, fuel, insurance, licensing, statutory road permits, and field execution quality.
2.2 Direct Farmer-to-Provider Payment Launch Model
Under the current launch model, FarmQ does NOT collect, hold, or escrow booking funds from farmers. Farmers pay equipment owners and operators directly at the field location via mutually agreed payment modes (Cash, UPI QR, or direct bank transfer). RemoteBuddee currently levies zero mandatory consumer checkout fee. Any future transition to integrated payment gateway processing or platform commission will be communicated with advance notice.
2.3 Booking Lifecycle, Rates & Distance Calculations
A booking request submitted via FarmQ represents a service request and is finalized once accepted by the matched provider. Indicative per-acre, per-hour, or per-day rates and GPS road distances provided in the application are planning estimates; final commercial terms are transparently validated prior to machinery operation.
2.4 User Code of Conduct & Safety
Users must provide accurate identity, land, and machinery credentials. Falsifying engine meters, submitting misleading land boundaries, operating unlicensed machinery, harassing counter-parties, or circumventing safety guidelines will result in immediate and permanent account deactivation.
3. RemoteBuddee AI Studio Client Engagements
For founders and enterprises contracting RemoteBuddee for AI MVP Sprints, custom agent development, or engineering pilots:
- Intellectual Property: Upon full payment of project invoices, all custom code, model prompts, and proprietary UI components created for the client are assigned 100% to the client.
- Confidentiality: RemoteBuddee adheres to strict non-disclosure obligations concerning client proprietary datasets, models, and commercial secrets.
- Studio Tooling: General purpose boilerplate code, open-source libraries, and reusable studio utilities remain licensed under their respective open-source terms.
4. Warranty Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted under applicable law, RemoteBuddee IT Services Private Limited provides its software platforms on an “as is” and “as available” basis. RemoteBuddee disclaims all implied warranties of fitness for a particular agricultural yield, uninterrupted connectivity in remote rural areas, or third-party mechanical failure of machinery listed on FarmQ.
5. Dispute Resolution, Governing Law & Grievance SLA
Indian IT Act, Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, and Grievance Officer
• Governing Law: This Agreement shall be construed and governed in accordance with the substantive laws of India. Competent courts in Hyderabad, Telangana shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes arising hereunder.
• Statutory Redressal SLA: In compliance with Indian consumer protection standards, all submitted grievances to support@remotebuddee.com are officially acknowledged within 48 hours and resolved within one calendar month of receipt.
